Marly Merenda Franke is Founder and Principal Consultant of Leadership Leverage Group, LLC, based in San Diego, CA. Over the last 20 years, Marly has served as an executive coach, trainer and consultant to numerous Fortune 100 and 500 companies, as well as public sector agencies and non-profit organizations. Leveraging her background in organizational development, Marly brings a holistic view and understanding of organizational issues to her globally diverse coaching clients, who range from C-suite executives to mid-level and frontline managers, across multiple industries. In addition to executive coaching, her key areas of expertise include organizational development, leadership development, performance management, and business process redesign.

Marly began her career in Human Resources at KPMG in Boston, Massachusetts, and went on to work for two West Coast, boutique consulting firms to specialize in executive coaching and organizational development. With her skills in performance management, Marly was elected as an independent lead consultant and executive coach for Toyota Financial Services, where she collaboratively oversaw design and training delivery for over 3,000 associates and executives in the areas of leadership coaching, performance management, and culture change. She has also served as an external consultant with Motorola University, where she trained hundreds of international executives in Six Sigma business process redesign methodologies.

Some of Marly’s strategic partnerships have included the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a non-profit ranked fourth worldwide in executive education. Through CCL, Marly has served for ten years as a top-rated executive coach, and is certified in multiple psychometric assessment instruments and custom 360° feedback. She has also facilitated team sessions on effective coaching skills, conflict resolution and executive presence. Part of Marly’s coaching repertoire also includes extensive training in career coaching and outplacement through Lee Hecht Harrison, a global outplacement firm, where she successfully transitioned hundreds of leaders back into the workforce through seminars and coaching. She has also partnered with University of California at San Diego, and the Centre for Organizational Effectiveness, in the design and delivery of custom, leadership development programs for public sector agencies.

Marly encourages clients to view challenges systemically, enabling leaders to implement strategic, results-oriented action plans. Marly is a board-certified coach (BCC) and has served as an Adjunct Professor in Organizational Dynamics at the University of California, San Diego Extension. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Communications from Boston University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Behavior from the California School of Professional Psychology.
